The Nuremberg Toy Fair draws in industry professionals from around the world. Each year over 67 000 visitors and 2886 exhibitors (830 of whom you cannot find at any other event) take their places in the exhibition space, showcasing a huge range of toys and related products suitable for ages.
Properly referred to as the Spielwarenmesse in German, you'll find more than just toys at this internationally-famous trade show. You'll also find baby toys and items, school supplies and stationery, lifestyle goods, electronics, models to construct, action toys, wooden toys, outdoor toys and many more. There are twelve different product groups in all.
The exhibitors range from the biggest household names and brands to new start-ups, as well as retailers of all kinds. Walking past their stands are buyers for a huge range of companies and large numbers of journalists and reporters. This latter group makes Spielwarenmesse the ideal place to be seen as well as to see and meet professionals in the industry from around the world.
Over 1 million products - around 15% of the brand new - are on display here, making it an absolute child's delight. It is just for the industry professionals though! These are innovators and decision-makers in the toy industry from more than 132 countries and regions.
There are special features too. These include "Toys Meet Books", where you can get tips and knowledge from trade specialists to aid the integration of your products with books. There's also the "Trend Gallery", where a group of experts present their findings of the current trends in the global toy industry.
