Perhaps the most exciting feature of InnoTrans Berlin is the 3.5 kilometres of indoor and outdoor track railway displays featuring real rolling stock, locomotives and railway vehicles of all kinds. One of the few places in the world where this sort of incredible display might be possible, the gigantic Berlin Messe exhibition centre is the venue where InnoTrans is held every two years.
It's so impressive that for the week after the trade visitors-only portion of the show, members of the public flock to the event to see the huge machines. Even the non-expert eye will be able to identify vehicles such as high-tech specialist transport wagons and thrilling high-speed trains from around the world. There is also an exciting demonstration course as well as the static display area for buses and other road vehicles.
InnoTrans is the world's leading trade show for transport technology and includes five specialist sections. These are Railway Technology, Railway Infrastructure, Public Transport, Interiors and Tunnel Construction. InnoTrans does everything big.
