London ExCeL is located on the northern quay of Royal Victoria Dock which ceased its commercial operations in the early 80s. After a massive architectural redesign of the site, the ExCeL exhibition center opens its door in November 2000 and in 2010 was acquired and further developed by ADNEC group. For its 20-year history it hosted the Olympic and Paralympic games in 2012 and the 2015 European Cardiology Association meeting to mention the few. Its built as a two-module structure with a big boulevard in between the 2 main halls (50,000 sq meters each). London ExCeL provides a number of smaller meeting facilities as well as about 20 dining locations, a long list of additional services and amenities and most of all – extremely easy access for its exhibitors and visitors.
