CPhI Worldwide – Pharmaceutical Industries Expo

CPhI Worldwide is organized by the British Company UBM International Media, and the company’s Dutch office is responsible for organizing a series of pharmaceutical exhibitions around the world.

CPhI exhibitions have been held since 1990, and now they occupy a leading position among the exhibitions of the pharmaceutical industry. CPhI exhibitions are held in European countries, Japan, India, China, South America. 

These days CPhI Worldwide is an event where more than 34000 professionals from 140 countries meet. The exhibition itself occupies area of about 60000 sq.m. There are represented more than 2200 companies around the world.

CPhI worldwide represents ingredients businesses, and companies within this area of pharmaceutical industry are divided into 4 sections according to their zone profiles:

First section is active pharmaceutical ingredients. It includes represented companies working  with ingredients like  alkaloids, amino acids, antibodies, antibiotics, cytokines, enzymes, hormones and synthetic substances, peptides, phospholipids, prostaglandins, serums and vaccines. 

The second section of exhibition represents companies dealing with Biocatalysts, medicinal formulas, antimicrobial protection, antioxidants, capsules / encapsulation, color and dispersion additives, drug distribution systems, solutions and emulsions, odorous substances and perfumes, drug coatings, microencapsulation, development of medicinal formulas, ointment Bases, solvents, thickeners, suppositories and bases, suspensions, viscosity-increasing substances, sweeteners, tablet shells, drug packaging.

Third section of CPhI Worldwide is for companies dealing with natural preparations. It includes herbal teas, medical plants, vegetable and animal extracts.

The fourth section of CPhI Worldwide is reserved for companies dealing with analytical services, biotechnologies, chemical synthesis and analysis, contract researches, work with clientele, diagnostics and immunochemistry, synthetic and organic chemistry, technologies for drug purification.

In 2017 CPhI Worldwide is held from 24-th to 26-th of October in Messe Frankfurt, Germany.
