interzum 2019 - 55th International Exhibition of Furniture Production Technologies, Materials and Accessories

Interzum has been an international exhibition since 1959. It takes place at the exhibition center in Cologne, Germany. Interzum presents the latest technology and advanced solutions for the furniture industry. The high level of professionalism and visitor competence makes Interzum a leading exhibition for furniture production and interior design.

Interterzum is held every two years. During the exhibition, you can find everything you need to produce furniture and furnishings. The exhibition attracts the attention of some 69,000 visitors from more than 150 countries around the world, who will be acquainted with the products and services of 1,700 participants from 60 countries with an area of more than 185,000 square meters in 10 exhibition halls.

Interzum 2019 contains three main themes: furniture, upholstery and mattresses, parts for furniture production.

The structure of the exhibition reflects the entire technological chain of furniture production. The Materials & Nature Hall will present visitors with the latest developments in the industry and attract the attention of architects, designers and developers. The wood-based materials will be placed in a special room Trends in Surfaces & Wood Design. The Function & Components hall will present parts and components for the furniture industry. The Function & Parts segment, dedicated to the functional details of the furniture, reflects the growing number of improvements in this area. There will be locks, accessories, hardware and more. With a new special area, interzum 2019 explores various ways that the megatrend digitalization is having an impact on living environments. This is a new look at the interior through the use of new types of decorative protective coatings, mineral fillers, direct printing methods.

The Interzum 2019 program includes seminars and lectures in which leading industry experts will take part. Interzum award 2019: „Best of the Best“ will be honoured at the Interzum opening ceremony.
